Practice

I do my best writing while nursing the baby,
I tap out the words with my thumb;
The dishes neglected, a diaper needs changing,
The shower is coated with scum.
Though Facebook is calling and laundry need doing,
Instead I'm attempting to rhyme;
My Swiss-army smart phone allows me to wrangle
The very best use of my time.
